Expect the Draft House Water Resources Development Act (whatever it’s name may be) to be introduced tomorrow, Friday the 18th with action by the full committee next Wednesday.
We hope you watched ASA R.D. James WRDA testimony today before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. It was enlightening for what he said about his support for better Corps transparency with regard to its non-Federal sponsors and also the need to improve collaboration. We expect the committee to act on its bill next week. Both the full House and Senate may pass their respective WRDA bills before the end of June.
Still no release of the FY18 Work Plan but we hear the guidance on the disaster funds has been signed. Don’t expect any list of recipients of disaster funds to be released before the Work Plan for ’18 is published
