The House will act on its WRDA bill next week. The time for filing amendments has passed, although we don’t yet know which will be allowed. HR 8 is the bill number
WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Because you’ve been so patient, we also expect that the House will act on its funding bill for the Corps by the end of next week. HR 5895 is the bill number
Now, boo-hoo. We don’t think there will be a FY 18 Corps Work Plan until someday next week. What’s the hold-up? I’d say too much money to deal with (Supplemental/Disaster funding plus FY18 funding plus meshing that with the FY19 bills that Congress is starting to move), and too few people to work through the tangle.
