Our beaches provide significant return on investment when we nourish them. While we take a neutral position on beach nourishment, we cannot ignore the social and economic benefits that our beaches provide. In coastal communities that rely on tourism it's all about 'butts on the beach', 'heads on the beds' and 'teeth at the table.'
